Calming Perilla Tea
From Dr. Chen’s family book. In the Chinese tradition this blend of perilla leaf and tangerine peel is used to move Qi when it feels stuck.

1. 20g Tzyy Su Perilla Frutescens Britto 2. 10g Chern Pyi Tangerine Peel 3. 7g Dang Shen Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae 4 . 10g Brown Sugar (or your favorite for sweet ) 1. Combine all the ingredients in a pot. 2. Add 0.8 liters of water. 3. Bring to a boil, then, reduce heat to a low simmer. 4. Cook for 30 minutes. 5. Makes about 0.6 liters of tea. 6. Strain it. 7. Serve hot, this tea could substitute for coffee. 8. Take it as much as you like.
