Hair-Nourishing Tea

From Dr. Chen’s family book. In the Chinese tradition this blend of raw and prepared rehmannia with cistanche is used to nourish Blood and Kidney essence.

dish_12recipe121. 30g Sheng Dih Radix Rehmanniae 2. 30g Shour Dih Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata 3. 30g Rou Tzong Rong Herba Cistanchis 1. Combine all the ingredients in a pot. 2. Add 2 liters of water. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a low simmer. 4. Cook for 50 minutes. 5. Makes about 1 liter of tea. 6. Strain it. 7. Drink as much as you want.
