Evening Rest Tea
From Dr. Chen’s family book. In the Chinese tradition this blend of sour jujube seed, poria and longan is used to calm the Shen (spirit) in the evening.

1. 20g Suan Tzao Ren Semen Zizihpi Spinosae 2. 10g Fwu Ling Poria 3. 20g Guey Yuan Gan Arillus Longan 1. Combine all the ingredients in a pot. 2. Add 1.5 liters of water. 3. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to a low simmer. 4. Cook for 60 minutes. 5. Makes about 0.8 liters of tea. 6. Strain it. 7. Drink it all in one day.
