Acupressure Massage for Abnormal Salivation
These are the acupressure points for abnormal salivation. Working on these points can help you get better faster. You do not have to use all of these points. Using just one or two of them whenever you have a free hand can be effective.
Acupressure Point ST4 — Di Cang
Chinese Name: 地倉
Location: lateral to the corner of the mouth.
Traditionally used for: deviation of the mouth, salivation, twitching of the eyelid, mutism, myopia, facial palsy, to reduce fat in the thigh.
Acupressure Point CV24 — Cheng Jiang
Chinese Name: 承漿
Location: in the depression in the center of the mentolabial groove.
Traditionally used for: facial swelling, swelling in the lower gums, toothache, salivation, drooling.
Acupressure Point LU7 — Lie Que
Chinese Name: 列 缺
Location: On the side of the arm, one thumb-width away from the wrist crest.
Traditionally used for: headache, migraine, neck rigidity, cough, asthma, sore throat, toothache, pain and weakness of the wrist.
Acupressure Point LU9 — Tai Yuan
Chinese Name: 太 淵
Location: distal to the styloid process of the radius, at the radial side of the wrist crease.
Traditionally used for: poor circulation, arterial sclerosis, headache, migraine, neck rigidity, cough, asthma, sore throat, toothache, pain and weakness of the wrist, blood disorder
