These are the acupressure points for muscular atrophy. Working on these points can help you get better faster. You do not have to use all of these points. Using just one or two of them whenever you have a free hand can be effective.
Acupressure Point GV3 — Yao Yang Guan
Chinese Name: 腰陽關
Location: below the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra, level with the iliac crest.
Benefits: irregular menstruation, nocturnal emission, impotence, pain in the lumbosacral region, muscular atrophy, motor impairment, numbness and pain of the lower extremities.
Acupressure Point EX-LE-6 — Dan Nang Xue
Chinese Name: 膽囊穴
Location: the tender spot about 2 body inches below GB 34.
Benefits: acute and chronic gall bladder pains, gall stones, muscular atrophy, numbness of the lower extremities, amoebiasis, liver flukes, parasites.
Acupressure Point K7 — Fu Liu
Chinese Name: 複溜
Location: 3 finger width directly above kidney 3, on the anterior border of the tendo-calcaneus.
Benefits: improves yang energy in older people. Low backache, low energy, abdominal pain, distention, edema, swelling of the legs, weakness of the foot, paralysis of the foot, night sweating, spontaneous sweating, muscular atrophy, connective tissue disorders, myelitis, multiple sclerosis, hemorrhoids.
Acupressure Point GB39 — Xuan Zhong
Chinese Name: 懸鐘
Location: 3 body inches above the tip of the external malleolus, in the depression between the posterior border of the fibula and the tendons of m.peroneus longus and brevis.
Benefits: weakness of the limbs, stiff neck, bloating of the abdomen, pain in the hypochondriac region, muscular atrophy of the limbs, spasm and cramps of the legs, tired eyes, vision problems.
Acupressure Point GB37 — Guan Ming
Chinese Name: 光明
Location: 5 body inches above the tip of the lateral malleolus, on the anterior border of the fibula.
Benefits: pain in the knee, muscular atrophy, motor impairment and pain of the lower extremities, blurred vision, eye infections, vision problems due to food allergies, sty in the eye, watery eyes, puffy eyelids, itchy eyes, night blindness, pain in the breast.
Acupressure Point GB34 — Yang Ling Quan
Chinese Name: 陽陵泉
Location: bend you leg. With the tip of your index finger probe the area in front of and below the head of the outer leg bone until you feel a slight dip.
Benefits: muscular atrophy, motor impairment, numbness and pain of the lower extremities, pain and swelling of the knee, pain in the hypochondriac region, bitter taste in the mouth, vomiting, weak muscles and tendons, pain in the body, tendon and muscular pains.
