Sweet apricot seed (Tianxingren)

The apricot seed comes from the cultivated prunus armeniaca.

Its properties and taste are sweet and neutral. Its functions are quite similar to those of bitter apricot seed, but it is more effective for moistening.

Sweet apricot seed (Tianxingren) is indicated in cough and asthma caused by weakness of the body and fatigue.

The recommended dosage is 3-10 g.
